LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College and the American Red Cross are co-sponsoring a blood drive on Feb. 13 at 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the college’s Student Union Building Solarium, located on the south end of the first floor.
A second blood drive will be held on April 17 at the same location during the same time.
Anyone wishing to donate blood during either of those two dates is asked to book an appointment ahead of time. Appointments can be scheduled online through the American Red Cross website.
According to the American Red Cross, a unit of blood is needed every 2-3 seconds in the United States.
The blood drives are a part of a senior project by LCSC tennis player Jen Roux.
