LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State College’s LC Cares committee is holding its sixth annual LC Cares Food and Toy Drive on Nov. 20-Dec. 17 at the college to help those in need in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley around the holidays.
Donations of nonperishable food items, new toys (not gift wrapped), and money are being accepted. Food and toys can be placed in donation boxes in buildings around the campus, including in Sacajawea Hall, College Advancement, Reid Centennial Hall, Sam Glenn Complex, LCSC Activity Center, Administration Building, Library, Meriwether Lewis Hall, CAMP Office, Physical Plant, Bookstore, Mechanical Technical Building, Wittman Complex, Student Union Building, Thomas Jefferson Hall, and Expedition Hall. Boxes are also located in the Adult Learning Center, Small Business Development Center, and Center for Arts & History offices in downtown Lewiston, and at the Workforce Training office in north Lewiston.
To donate money, contact Julie Lorentz in the LCSC Grants and Contracts office, in Room 2 in the basement of the Administration Building, or call 208-792-2461.
On Dec. 18, the donated items and money will be delivered to the Idaho Food Bank, the Asotin County Food Bank, Community Action Partnership, the YWCA, and the LCSC Food Pantry.
The LC Cares committee is composed of faculty, staff and students at LCSC.
