Memorabilia sought for 30th anniversary of Dogwood Festival

LEWISTON, Idaho – The Dogwood Festival of the Lewis Clark Valley celebrates its 30th anniversary in April and a call is going out for Dogwood memorabilia from the past 30 years.  Among the items sought are some of the original t-shirts, sweatshirts, and pins from the first five years of the festival.

The Dogwood Festival is a valley-wide celebration with many events, including the Seaport River Run, Confluence Grape & Grain, Lewiston All-Breed Dog Show, Seaport Quilters Guild Quilt Show, Dogwood Dunk, Art Under the Elms, and the Dogwood Show & Shine.  New this year is the Color the Valley “Fun” Run and an Earth Day Celebration.

The Dogwood Festival is also kicking off the ‘Friend of the Festival’ campaign.  If you show your support for the festival by donating $30, you will receive a window decal for your home, car, or place of business.

If you wish to become a Friend of the Festival, or contribute items for a 30th year exhibit, please stop by the Dogwood Festival office at 415 Main Street in Lewiston or call 208.792.2447.
