Professional development conference planned at LCSC

If you are you looking to enhance or re-energize yourself, Lewis-Clark State College is hosting "Become the BIG Fish," a professional development conference on June 5, where regional experts will teach skills needed to excel in your professional career.
The conference will be held in the Williams Conference Center from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The $70 registration includes continental breakfast, lunch, keynote speaker, and three workshops.
Workshop topics include "Supervising without Fear," "Managing Monkeys," "The Secret Formula to the Perfect Handshake," "Social Media Boot Camp," "What’s the True Color of Your Personality?" and many more.
Organizers say conference participants will learn: how to communicate with success; leadership skills to help them "Become the BIG Fish" and be a positive impact on their organization; how to keep up with changing technology; how to build teams that deliver results; how to reenergize their customer service skills; and how to build a winning business plan.
The closing keynote speaker is Dr. Dennis Reynolds, Wine Business Management Director, and Ivar Haglund Endowed Chair of Hospitality Management at the Washington State University School of Hospitality Business Management. Reynolds teaches and conducts research on global service-management issues.
