The Lewis-Clark State College Native American Club and the LCSC Native American Alumni Chapter are holding their 4th annual 4-Person Golf Scramble on Saturday, August 24 at the Bryden Canyon Golf Course in Lewiston.
Registration is at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $30 per person which includes lunch and a gift bag. It does not include green fees and a cart. There are prizes for 1st to 6th place finishers, special hole prizes, and a chance for a $10,000 hole-in-one prize. Proceeds from the event will be used for scholarships to support Native American students attending Lewis-Clark State College.
Sponsors for the scramble are being sought, with a team sponsorship fee of $120 or a hole sponsorship fee of $200. The hole sponsorship includes a foursome in the scramble, the business or organization’s sign at the designated hole, and an invitation to provide giveaway promotional items.
There is a limit of 18 teams for the scramble. Team information can be emailed to Bob Sobotta at bsobotta@lcsc.edu or Sam White Temple at tswhite-temple@lcsc.edu. Team fees will be collected at registration the day of the scramble.
The Native American Club at LCSC was organized in the early 1970's to promote and support educational success through unique tribal cultures and heritage. The Native American Alumni Chapter was approved by the LCSC Alumni Board of Directors in the summer of 2009 to support the Native American student population at LCSC. Together, both organizations support Native student success by creating opportunities for excellence and connecting alumni with students.
